Now, get power bill details on WhatsApp

For the convenience of consumers, the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) would now provide the details of their bills on WhatsApp.

For this purpose, a WhatsApp group has been created for the consumers in all four subdivisions of Ambala.

Giving details, a spokesperson for the nigam said that to avail the facility, consumers would have to get their subdivision name, consumer name, account number and mobile number registered with the subdivision concerned. For Ambala East Subdivision, consumers could send these details on mobile number 9355555120, West Subdivision on 8930640884, Model Town Subdivision on 9068894877 and Chaurmastpur Subdivision on 9068852089, respectively.

He said the consumers should only send message on these numbers as calls won’t be entertained. In addition, for any query related to electricity, one may call toll free number 18001801550 or 1912.
