Now, govt teachers can apply online for inter-district transfers

The Education Department has opened inter-district transfers for state teachers under the online transfer policy guidelines. As many as 8,031 vacant posts are available across the state for teachers.

The Elementary Education Department has invited applications from teachers, who have completed three years’ regular service, by February 28.

Sources said teachers would have to apply online on department’s management information system and the transfers would be done in a transparent manner under online transfer policy guidelines.

A maximum of 1,599 vacant posts are available for Mewat district, followed by 743 in Palwal district and 604 in Karnal. Meanwhile, a minimum of 12 posts are available in Jhajjar, followed by 30 in Mahendragarh and 55 posts in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts.

Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said the fresh round of transfers would be completed before the start of the new academic session from April 1, so that studies were not affected. “
