Poisoning killed MDU student: Autopsy report

The postmortem report of Dakshveer, a law student at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) who had died in a hostel room on the university campus on Monday, has indicated that he died due to poisoning.

Dakshveer, hailing from Gurugram, had got married a few months ago. His parents are employed as teachers and he used to come to Rohtak to attend classes.

He had come to the Law Department on Tuesday, from where he went to a hostel along with a friend. The friend left him in the hostel room and went to buy some eatables.

When the friend returned after sometime, he found Dakshveer lying unconscious. He took him to the PGIMS with the help of some other students, where Dakshveer was declared brought dead. —TNS
