Panipat, October 15
Members of the Pratyaksh Chunav Sangharsh Samiti (PCSS) protested indirect elections to students’ union at the gate of SD PG College here on Monday.
Members of the INSO, SFI, NSUI, AISF and other student associations gathered at the gate of the college.
The students were led by Balraj Deshwal, spokesperson of INSO. They staged a dharna on the gate as they were not allowed inside the college.
They threatened to continue the protest against indirect format of the elections. The elections would not be allowed to be held at any cost, the student leaders warned.—TNS
