Register all dealers under GST, field officers told

The Haryana Excise and Taxation Department has directed field officers to ensure that all dealers in the state are migrated and registered in the GST regime.
The PANs of 2,55,408 persons had been validated as registered under Haryana VAT on the date preceding the appointed day under the GST. He said of the 2,06,553 enrolled persons, a total of 1,63,039 had submitted applications electronically in the form of GST REG-26 duly signed or verified through electronic verification code. In case any deficiency, a show-cause notice in the form of GST REG-27 could be issued within 15 days of submission of the application. If the proper officer failed to verify within 15 days from the date of furnishing information, registration would be deemed to have been granted.
