Chandigarh, August 18
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has expressed condolences on the demise of retired IAS officer Ram Niwas, who was recently appointed chairperson of the State Police Complaint Authority. He breathed his last at the PGI on Sunday.
In a message, the Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
The retired IAS officer had served on many positions in Central Government, Haryana Government and Chandigarh Administration. The cremation will take place in Sector 25 here at 11 am on Monday.
