Road repair complaints app by March

Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh said any compliant of road pits received on Harpath App would be resolved within 96 hours. If not, the department concerned would pay fine. The app would be made functional by March.
The minister, who was presiding over a review meeting regarding Harpath App, here today directed officers to fasten the pace of work on the app so as to remove the grievances of people.
In urban areas, the construction and repair of roads is the responsibility of Urban Local Bodies, municipality, Municipal Corporation, Haryana Urban Development Authority and Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation. And in rural areas, it is the responsibility of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, while the Public Works Department looks after national highways and other roads.
“There is need to generate awareness among people regarding Harpath App so that they can take immediate steps to remove problems of road pits and to get roads repaired in a time-bound manner,” Rao Narbir added.
