Rohtak, November 3
The Rohtak District Hospital has been adjudged the best in the country in terms of the provision of quality healthcare services and other parameters.
The hospital attained the highest score – 96 out of 100 – in the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) for the year 2017-18.
Dr Ramesh Chander, MS, Civil Hospital, received the award-cum-merit certificate at the Fifth National Summit on Good, Replicable Practices and Innovations in Public Healthcare Systems in India, organised by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at Kaziranga in Assam from October 30 to November 1. The second position was bagged by Vinoba Bhave Hospital in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and the third position by District Hospital in Viyara, Gujarat. — TNS
