Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain has said that all sewage and drainage related problems of local residents of the town are being solved on priority basis.
While launching Rs 5.58-crore road remodelling project here on Sunday in HUDA’s Sector-23, Jain said the very complicated construction work of the sewage treatment plant near Kakroi village had been completed. The de-silting of the sewer lines and open drains was being completed without any delay, she added.
“Rs 45 crore has been earmarked for remodelling of the 83-km-long main and link roads in HUDA’s Sectors 12, 13, 14, 15 and 23 of the town,” she said, and announced that a 33-kv substation would be set up in Sector-23 to streamline power supply.
Rajiv Jain, media adviser to the Chief Minister, also spoke on the occasion.
