Selfie craze claims live of three teens

Panipat, April 29
Three teenagers were crushed to death under a train while they were reportedly posing for a selfie on a railway track between the Panipat and Babarpur railway stations on the Delhi-Ambala route on Monday.
The GRP sent the bodies to the general hospital for postmortem examination. The incident was reported in the evening.
The deceased were identified as Sunny (14) of Ashok Vihar Colony, Chaman (15) of Rakesh Colony and Kishan (17) of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. Sunny and Chaman were cousins and Kishan was their maternal uncle. Kishan had come to Sunny’s house to attend a wedding two days ago.
Sunny, Chaman, Kishan and their relative Dinesh of Delhi went to Devi Lal Park on a motorcycle. They moved on the railway track to take a selfie.
When they saw a train coming, they jumped aside. The train hit three of the teenagers, who died on the spot. Sunny and Chaman were Class VI students.
Two friends Happy (23) of Patel Nagar and Hunny Mehta (24) of Raj Nagar had also lost their lives in Panipat on April 10, 2017 while they were reportedly taking selfie on the railway track.
