Special trains to tackle extra rush

In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to run the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Beas-Hazrat Nizamuddin and Saharanpur-Beas-Saharanpur unreserved special trains.

The Hazrat Nizamuddin-Beas unreserved special train will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin at 7.50 pm on August 30 to reach Beas at 4.50 am the next day and the Beas-Hazrat Nizamuddin unreserved special train will leave Beas at 7.20 pm on September 2 to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 4.20 am the next day.

Comprising of 18 general class coaches, the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Beas-Hazrat Nizamuddin unreserved special train will stop at New Delhi and Sabzi Mandi stations en route in both the directions.

The Saharanpur-Beas unreserved special train will leave Saharanpur at 8.50 pm on August 31 and September 14 to reach Beas at 3 am the next day. In the return direction, the Beas-Saharanpur unreserved special train will depart Beas at 4.30 pm on September 2 and 16 to reach Saharanpur at 11.10 pm the same day.

Comprising of 18 general class and two second class-cum-luggage and brake van coaches, the Saharanpur-Beas-Saharanpur train will stop at Jagadhri, Jagadhri Workshop, Ambala Cantonment, Ambala City, Rajpura and Sirhind stations en route in both the directions.
