Karnal, November 14
Scores of candidates of TGT and PGT posts, who had applied through the Haryana Staff Selection Commission in 2015, today protested outside the Chief Minister’s camp office and urged the state government to speed up the process of recruitment.
Candidates Jitender Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Amit and Shakti alleged that the government was playing with their future by not starting the recruitment process. They alleged that the previous government had also called applications for these posts in 2014, which the present government cancelled in 2015 and demanded fresh applications. They had appeared in the written examinations held around one-and-a-half year ago. Though the exam results had been declared and documents verification done for these posts, the final list was not being declared, leading to resentment among candidates, they said.
The candidates said if recruitment were not done before the HTET examinations scheduled for December 23 and 24, a legal battle as for JBT recruitment in 2011 and 2013 could start.
