“In an investment meet held recently, the state government signed an MoU for investment of Rs 3.66 lakh crore against the investment target of Rs one lakh crore,” he said.

Explaining that the new industrial policy had been finalised after taking suggestions from the industrial associations, Goyal said the new industrial policy had encouraged investment and setting up of new industrial units.

He said the state government would leave no stone unturned to make Haryana number one state in the country in industrial development.

He said the number of National Highways in the state had increased from eight to 20 in the last three years. He also made several announcements to further boost industrial growth in Sonepat district.

Sonepat MP Ramesh Kaushik, BJP’s state media in charge Rajiv Jain, and Managing Director of the HSIIDC Raja Sekhar Vundru, also spoke on the occasion.
