Jhajjar, August 22
The CIA team of the Bahadurgarh police has nabbed a wanted criminal, Sukhvinder alias Shoki of Ritoli village, along with his two accomplices — Narender alias Sheelu of Ritoli and Karambir of Jakhoda village — from Barahi village.
The police have also recovered a Ritz car, a pistol, one rifle, iron rod, a torch and 12 live cartridges from their possession. They were apprehended last night.
Jhajjar SP Sumit Kuhar said Shoki was wanted in 16 cases, including murder, attempt to murder, robbery and dacoity. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment. Shoki and Sheelu were taken on remand, while Karambir had been sent to judicial custody. — TNS
