Twenty-one year old Gagan Verma, a second year student of BA of Rayat-Bahra University, Mohali, was recently awarded the Mr Universe Super Model title in Supermodel Universe 2016 contest held at Bulgaria. He became first Asian and first Indian who got this title. Gagan Verma also got the Supermodel Face Universe title and also Supermodel Best Posing Universe title.
Gagan started his modelling journey last year from the Rayat-Bahra University. He was selected in Young Munch Season 3 for city finale and was declared first runner up at the finale. After these feats, he got Vibrant Mr. India title at Delhi and won the Nidarr Season 6, a show telecast on MH One Channel.
Gagan is delighted at his success in the modelling world, “I give credit for my success to the Rayat-Bahra University which provided me a platform to show my talent. I owe special thanks to my parents and friends who supported me at every stage. All this has become possible with the grace of God. It was an honour to represent India.” Fond of singing, Gagan has a passion for acting and plans to try his luck both at modeling and acting. He says he would try to get a foothold in Bollywood which has been his lifetime dream. —TNS
