Health scheme kicks off in Patiala

Patiala: Cabinet Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot today launched the Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana at Mata Kaushalya Hospital. The ambitious scheme aims at providing a coverage of Rs five lakh to the eligible beneficiaries, and will be benefiting more than 2,93,636 families in the district.



Patiala: Cabinet Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot today launched the Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana at Mata Kaushalya Hospital. The ambitious scheme aims at providing a coverage of Rs five lakh to the eligible beneficiaries, and will be benefiting more than 2,93,636 families in the district. The scheme will target the poor, deprived, rural families and identified the occupational category of urban workers’families. All blue pass holders and people from financially weaker sections who have already been issued the blue pass, will be directly included in the said scheme. Equipped with specially designed 1,396 treatment packages, the scheme will be implemented through more than 450 empanelled hospitals, including 200 government hospitals.
