A convocation ceremony was organised for the students of Indus International University in Bathu village of Una district on Friday.
As many as 167 students were conferred degrees by Devinder Kumar Sharma, Chairman of the Bhakra Beas Management Board, on the university campus on the occasion.
Sharma congratulated the students for achieving an academic milestone and urged them to work for the welfare of the common man. He lauded the efforts of the university in running the courses that were in demand, enabling students to get employment after completing their degrees.
The Chancellor of the university, Dr Sudhir Kartha, the Vice-Chancellor of Amity University, Jharkhand, Dr Raman Kumar Jha, and Secretary of the Kartha Education Society John Neelankavil were also present on the occasion, besides lecturers and parents.
