46 students take part in summer adventure camp

A six-day children summer adventure camp by the Northern Command was inaugurated at Bakloh Cantonment today.
The camp is to bring the children close to the spirit of adventure and activities related with the armed forces.
Lt Col Devender Anand, Public Relations Officer (Defence), said the camp was for children (15 to18 years of age) of Army personnel and civil defence employees. He said it was aimed at personality development with a tinge of fun. He said 46 children from Army schools and wards of armed forces personnel were part of the camp. He said the camp would include a plethora of activities such as rock climbing, trekking, yoga, cultural events and honing of social skills and etiquettes. The camp will conclude on June 22. — OC
