The circuit bench of the HP Administrative Tribunal, headed by chairman VK Sharma, while holding its sitting in Mandi has directed the Secretary, HP Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Hamirpur, to permit Bhuru Ram, a resident of Baggi in Mandi district, to participate in the interview for the post of Junior Office Assistant provisionally.
It was further ordered that the result of the interview be produced before the tribunal in sealed cover on the next date of hearing on September 5. The applicant was ordered to produce a copy of the order before the Secretary, HP Staff Selection Commission within three days for its compliance.
As per the facts of the case, Bhuru Ram, had applied for the post of Junior Office Assistant and submitted his testimonials. He was issued an interview card but when he had gone to appear in the interview he was not allowed to appear in it on the pretext that his application had been rejected as he did not possess the required qualifications.
So, the applicant prays for the quashing of order (dtd 13-6-2017) vide which the application of the candidate was rejected. As per applicant, he was having the requisite qualification and was eligible for the interview.
The applicant has prayed to allow him to appear in the ongoing interviews. Hearing both the parties the tribunal issued directions to allow the applicant to appear in interview and send back the result in sealed cover to the tribunal by the next date of hearing.
