An apple-laden truck overturned near the inter-state toll tax barrier at Parwanoo on Monday.

It was on its way to Panchkula from Solan when the driver, Ravi Kumar of Haryana, lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve. He escaped with minor injuries. All apple boxes came tumbling on the Kalka-Shimla highway and half of these were damaged, causing a huge loss. — TNS
