BJP leaders pay last respects to former MLA

UNA: Former Santoshgarh MLA Jai Kishan Sharma was cremated at his ancestral village Haroli in Una district today.

Former Santoshgarh MLA Jai Kishan Sharma was cremated at his ancestral village Haroli in Una district today. The 78-year-old politician breathed his last yesterday after a prolonged illness.

He remained the BJP state president and also served the RSS for many years before joining politics.

Those who attended his funeral included BJP state president Satpal Singh Satti, Leader of the Opposition Mukesh Agnihotri, Chief Minister’s Political Adviser Manoj Jamwal, DC Sandeep Kumar, Haroli SDM Gaurav Chaudhary, BJP state organising secretary Pawan Rana, secretary Chander Mohan, spokesperson Ganesh Dutt Sharma, HIMUDA vice-chairman Parveen Sharma and HPSIDC vice-chairman Ram Kumar. — OC
