SHIMLA: The Congress has revoked the expulsion of Harish Janartha, who had contested the 2017 elections as an Independent against the party's official nominee.
Janartha on Friday met HPCC chief Kuldeep Rathore at the party office. Rathore said he was confident that Janartha would work for the party candidate's victory.
In the 2017 poll, the Congress had given ticket to Harbhajan Singh Bhajji, an Anand Sharma loyalist, despite the fact that Janartha had lost by a slender margin. TNS
