The Chandra-Bhaga Sangam Parv Samiti will celebrate Sangam Parv in the tribal district Lahaul- Spiti at Tandi tomorrow. It is at Tandi where both the rivers confluence.

The samiti will organise religious rituals on the banks of Chandra-Bhaga sangam at Tandi.

The Sangam Parav Samiti is organising this event to protect the sanctity of the river and encourage people to ensure their contribution in this direction.

The Hindus of Lahaul-Spiti, who cannot travel to Haridwar to conduct last religious rituals of dead person in the Ganga, perform those rituals at Chandra- Bhaga Sanagam Parv and pray for the peace of departed soul. — TNS
