He said the initiative had been taken to facilitate the ease of doing business with direct interface with entrepreneurs.

He expressed hope that the direct monitoring by a state-level committee would attract huge investment. This system would emerge as a platform for redressal of grievances of the entrepreneurs.  The investors were now able to know the status of their projects.

In the first phase, investment of Rs 25 crore or above had been uploaded on the portal.

The Chief Minister said   five tourism projects  - Rs 289-crore Himani-Chamunda ropeway, Rs 35-crore Snow Valley Resorts and Management Institute, Shimla, Rs 150-crore Dharamsala ropeway, Rs 200-crore Bijali Mahadev ropeway and Rs 340-crore Palchan Rohtang ropeway were being monitored by the portal.

The Chief Minister said he would monitor the progress on the portal quarterly so that the pace of development could be accelerated.

The government would also consider the inclusion of projects below Rs 25 crore so that the maximum projects were covered for the effective monitoring.
