Shimla, July 8
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said the Dharamsala ropeway project was under construction and Adi Himani Chamunda ropeway worth Rs 289 crore had been approved in principle for which the forest clearance had also been obtained.
He said a survey had also been conducted for Bhuntar-Bijli Mahadev ropeway by spending Rs 94.19 crore. The money had also been deposited for ropeways from Palchan to Rohtang, which would be constructed by spending Rs 340 crore.
He said the government would develop Shiv Dham in Mandi where replicas of 12 Jyotirling would be created as an added attraction to tourists as well as locals.
Mandi lake would also be developed by introducing Beas aarti on the pattern of Ganga Aarti, he said.
