Conserve tradition, says CM

“It is our duty to conserve the age-old traditions so as to make the generations aware about the rich cultural legacy of the state,” said Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, presiding over the annual cultural function ‘Jaighosh-2018’ organised by the Sirmaur Students Welfare Association here today.

He announced Rs 21,000 from his discretionary fund for the association for promotion of the cultural activities. He also danced to the tunes of folk music along with Speaker Vidhan Sabha Dr Rajeev Bindal.

He also accepted the invitation of Dr Bindal to visit Sirmaur district. MLA, Pachhad, Suresh Kashyap announced Rs 11,000 for the association.
