Daily train to connect Una with Saharanpur
UNA: The Railways has decided to extend the daily passenger train running between Saharanpur and Nangal by 16 km to Una. The assurance was given by Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha at Amb on January 15 while inaugurating the Amb-Andaura to Daulatpur Chowk rail section.
“The Ambala division of the Railways today issued a time-table for the extended route,” said Bikram Singh Chauhan, Superintendent of the Una railway station. He said the passenger train (64511) would start from Saharanpur at 6.30 am every day and reach Una at 1 pm. On its return journey, it will depart from Una as train number 64512 at 1.20 pm and reach Saharanpur at 8 pm. The train will cover the 255-km route between Una and Saharanpur in about six hours and 15 minutes, halting at 31 stations, including Ambala, Chauhan said.OC
