Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj on Tuesday launched Diya Gas Bottling Plant Limited operations in the state.

It will facilitate hassle-free and timely LPG access to domestic, commercial and industrial users. Thakur said with the launch of “diya gas” operations, households would get high quality LPG at their doorsteps.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
