In view of the proposed Una visit of Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to lay the foundation stone of the PGI satellite hospital on March 7, a high-level team from the the PGI, Chandigarh, headed by its Director Dr Jagat Ram, reached Una to inspect the site. Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said the institution would come up over 402 kanals on the outskirts of Una city.

After the inauguration, the Chief Minister would lay foundation stones or inaugurate government works costing Rs 600 crore in Una, Haroli and Kutlehar.
