Dr Rajesh Sharma, a Congress leader and chief managing director of Bala Ji Hospital here, has been appointed as state president of All-India Professional Congress, working under the chairmanship of former minister Shashi Tharoor.
In a communication from headquarters of the All-India Professional Congress at New Delhi, Dr Rajesh Sharma was appointed as state president for Himachal Pradesh. Professional Congress is the brain child of Congress president Rahul Gandhi and it is working at the grassroots level to remain in touch with the Congress workers and leaders to coordinate and strengthen the party cadre.
