To mark the 10th anniversary of the Mumbai attacks, “Spur des Terror”, a German poster featuring Mumbai’s Taj Hotel horizons, and a German documentary on the terror attack, will be released in Germany and other European countries on November 21.

The lead role in the documentary has been played by Brig Govind Sisodia (retd) from Chopal in Shimla district. He was then the DIG of the NSG who had led the team of ‘Black Cat’ commandos during the anti-terror operation. They had neutralised nine Pak-based terrorists holed up inside The Taj, Trident, Nariman House and Chabad House in Mumbai.

The scenes of 26/11 attack have been recreated in the documentary, which was recently shot by German directors in Mumbai and Delhi. Spur Des Terror is a topography museum in Germany.

Brigadier Sisodia is a decorated soldier, who has led several anti-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir and Sri Lanka. These days he is providing training to young aspirants for Indian armed forces at a private training institute in Dehradun.

Sharing his experiences with The Tribune, Sisodia said,“The world has learnt bitter lessons from the 26/11 attacks. A German team came here to make a documentary on it, which will be showcased on ‘German TV’ on November 21. A news agency from Spain also interviewed us in Mumbai. The idea is to make the public aware about how to respond to terror attacks and terrorists.”

He said most states had now set up a quick response fully equipped force to keep tabs on anti-terror activities and track the movement of terrorists.
