Hamirpur, Solan and Kullu districts have topped the maternal health and family planning index, according to the score card released by the state Health Department. Of total 12 districts, Lahaul-Spiti has secured the lowest rank. In fact, the performance of Shimla, Mandi, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti districts on this count has been ranked at the lower level.
Solan has topped the list with regard to the immunisation programme while Bilaspur and Una have emerged second and third.
Mandi, Hamirpur and Solan districts have topped with regard to the RKSK, MHP and WIFS health programmes, respectively, while Lahaul-Spiti, Bilaspur, Shimla, Kullu, Sirmaur and Chamba have got the lowest rank.
In de-addiction and geriatric care, Kinnaur has topped the list, followed by Bilaspur and Lahaul-Spiti. Hamirpur, Kullu and Kangra are ranked at the bottom, indicating the prevalence of drug addiction in these districts.
With regard to tuberculosis programmes such as RNTCP and NPCB, Kangra, Shimla, Hamirpur and Bilaspur have done well while Kinnaur, Chamba, Sirmaur and Lahaul-Spiti lagged have lagged behind.
With regard to NOHP, e-Health and CP, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Una and Mandi are the four top scorers, respectively, while Chamba, Solan, Kangra, Kullu and Lahaual-Spiti are placed at the bottom.
