Hamirpur youth gets 26th rank in IES exam

Shubham Sharma (in pic), an engineering graduate, has brought laurels to the city by securing all India 26th rank in the Indian Engineering Services (IES) examination, 2018.

A total of 511 candidates were recommended by the Union Public Service Commission for the IES.

Talking to The Tribune, Shubham said hard work and commitment were keys to success. His father Surender Kumar and mother Nisha Sharma said they were proud of their son. Shubham did his engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. — OC
