On the occasion of Hindi Week, the Una district Art, Language and Culture Department on Thursday organised a quiz, declamation and essay writing competitions for schoolchildren in Hindi language at Bachat Bhawan. Students from 25 schools participated.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commisioner Rakesh Prajapati said Hindi language was a powerful tool to express and propagate the rich culture and heritage of our country. Prajapati said Hindi language had not lost its significance. He later gave away prizes to winners. — OC
