HPU coaching for civil services

Shimla, May 2

The Pre-Examination Coaching Centre of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) will organise a one-month coaching from May 7 to June 6, focused on HAS/IAS (Preliminary) examination. Besides Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste and OBC candidates, general category candidates can also get coaching, a spokesman for the HPU said.

The candidates can submit their application forms to the office of the Director, Pre-Examination Coaching Centre (PECC), HPU, by May 6.

The application forms can be obtained from the office of the PECC for free or downloaded from the university website, he added.

SC/ OBC candidates whose family annual income is below Rs3 lakh and ST category candidates whose annual family income is below Rs2.50 lakh will be provided free coaching. They will also be paid stipend as per government rules. —TNS
