IIRD drive to identify issues of rural folks

The Institute for Integrated Rural Development (IIRD) will launch an intensive campaign to identify and resolve the issues of rural folks in the state.
Managing Director, IIRD, LC Sharma said the institute in association with Ruralising India – Empowering Villages (Mission RIEV) would launch a door-to-door campaign to identify the problems faced by rural people.
“The IIRD is working towards ensuring basic facilities, including health, education, agriculture, skill development and e-service, in the villages,” he said.
A team of volunteers would ensure timely delivery of various services for which the people of rural areas had to wait for months. Household, commercial and online services would come under the ambit the IIRD and people interested in these services would be given assistance and guidance.
Besides this, the project would also provide employment opportunities to local youngsters.
