Incentive for e-payment of power bills

In order to encourage digital payments by electricity consumers in the state, the HPSEBL management has decided to give incentive of Rs 10 per electricity bill paid through digital mode. Consumer can avail this incentive scheme starting from April 2019 for a period of six month.

An HPSEBL spokesperson said this benefit would be given to consumers who pay their electricity bills through digital channel. He said board’s payment gateway available at HPSEBL website http://hpseb.com/mybill/. Payment can also be made through the BBPS non-banking channel — Paytm, Mobikwik, Phone Pay, Google Pay, BHIM etc. and through various Banks i/c the major banks like State Bank of India, Punjab National bank, HDFC, ICICI. — TNS
