Palampur, June 5
A team of veterinary scientists from Dr GC Negi college of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, agriculture university, organised eight infertility treatment camps for bovines in Lahaul and Pangi, from 27 May to 2 June.
The camps were organised in collaboration with Department of Animal Husbandry, HP, at Sissu, Jahlma, Udaipur, Mudgram and Karpat (Miyar) in Lahaul and at Rei, Killar and Karyas in Pangi under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna project to investigate the causes of infertility in bovines.
Team leader Prof Madhumeet Singh said around 150 cows and yak crosses were examined in the camps. — OC
