Kangra girl dies in road mishap

Kangra, June 19

A girl child was killed on the spot when a car dashed against the stairs of a house at Dehru village falling under Khundian police station yesterday, the police said here.

Kangra SSP Sanjeev Gandhi said driver Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Lower Thehru, Jaisinghpur, rammed his car (HP-65- 3845) into the stairs at Dehru, near Ration Depot, leaving girl child Muskan of Ropari, Maharajnagar, dead on the spot.

The police have registered a case under Sections 279, 337 and 304-A of the IPC against the driver.
