Four days of persistent efforts by the district administration led to removal of debris from a landslide, which in turn has opened the Chamba-Khajjiar road.
A person was injured after a portion of the road was washed away due to the landslide triggered near Mangla opposite Bhatalwan Mata temple near Chamba town.
Chamba Deputy Commissioner Harikesh Meena said here that the road had been opened to regular movement of traffic. However, the work to stabilise the hillside was under way.
