In a major reshuffle, the High Court has transferred 90 judicial officers.
According to a notification, 18 judicial officers of the cadre of District and Sessions Judge have been reshuffled. Sushil Kukreja, Presiding Officer, Labour Court-cum-Industrial Tribunal, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Registrar, Lokayukta.
The services of Virender Singh, District & Sessions Judge, Shimla, are placed at the disposal of the Chief Justice while that of Chirag Bhanu Singh, Director, Judicial Academy, are placed at the disposal of the state government for being posted as Presiding Officer, Labour Court-cum-Industrial Tribunal, Shimla.
Rajiv Bhardwaj, Registrar General of the High Court, will be the new District & Sessions Judge, Shimla. Arvind Malhotra, Registrar (Vigilance), has been transferred and posted as District and Sessions Judge (Forest), Shimla. Rakesh Kainthla, District & Sessions Judge (Leave/Training Reserve), High Court, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as District & Sessions Judge, Hamirpur.
Jitender Kumar Sharma, Registrar (Judicial) has been posted as District and Sessions Judge, Kangra, at Dharamsala, whereas Purender Vaidya, District and Sessions Judge, Kangra, at Dharamsala, has been posted at Kullu.
Virender Sharma, District and Sessions Judge (Forest), Shimla, has been posted as Director, Judicial Academy. The services of Dr Baldev Singh, Registrar, Lokayukta, Himachal Pradesh, are placed at the disposal of the Chief Justice for being posted as one of the Registrars in the High Court whereas RK Chaudhary, District and Sessions Judge, Kullu, has been transferred to Bilaspur.
KK Sharma, Presiding Officer, Labour Court-cum-Industrial Tribunal, Dharamsala has been transferred and posted as Chairman, Wakf Tribunal at Dharamsala. The services of Mukesh Bansal, Presiding Officer, District Consumer Forum, Kangra, are at the disposal of the Chief Justice for being posted as one of the Registrars in the High Court.
Padam Singh, District and Sessions Judge, Hamirpur, has been transferred to Kinnaur at Rampur. Yogesh Jaswal, District and Sessions Judge, Chamba, has been transferred and posted as Presiding Officer, Labour Court-cum-Industrial Tribunal, Dharamsala.
The services of Bahadur Singh, District and Sessions Judge, Bilaspur, are placed at the disposal of the Chief Justice for being posted as one of the Registrars in the High Court.
Pradeep Singh Samyal, District and Sessions Judge, Kinnaur at Rampur, has been transferred and posted as Presiding Officer, District Consumer Forum, Dharamsala whereas RK Tomar, Chairman, Wakf Tribunal at Dharamsala, has been transferred and posted as District and Sessions Judge, Chamba.
Apart from 18 Judicial officers of the cadre of District and Sessions Judges, the High Court has also transferred 16 Additional District and Sessions Judges and 14 Judicial Officers of the cadre of Chief Judicial Magistrate and 42 Judicial Officers of the cadre of Civil Judges.
