Students of MCM DAV College, Kangra, have secured the top positions in the first and third semester examinations of MSc chemistry and physics.
Principal Baljeet Singh Patial said the college had got seven positions out of 10 in the merit list of MSc (chemistry) third semester examinations and six positions in the first semester.
In MSc (physics), the college got five positions in the third semester and two in the first semester.
In MSc (chemistry) third semester, Himani Sharma secured the first position in HP University by securing 81.73 per cent. Shikha Sharma stood second with 79.86 per cent.
Rachna, Samta Rana, Diksha Rana, Minakshi and Kajal secured the fifth, seventh, ninth and 10th positions, respectively.
In MSc (physics) third semester, Sunaina Sharma secured the first position with 83.4 per cent. Pratibha secured the second position with 82.8 per cent.— OC
