GAV Kangra overall athletics champion

GAV Public School Kangra has been declared overall athletics champion in under 14 school athletics tournament held at Dharamsala.

Principal Sukhvinder Singh today said that GAV student Siya was adjudged the best athlete. She won two gold medals and one silver medal during the tournament. She has been selected for the state team along with Kanishk, gold medalist in 400 m and silver medalist in 600 m race, and Kunal, who won two silver medals for 100 and 200 m races. Coach Naina said that the girls relay team Siya, Arshita, Divyanshi and Avantika won silver medal. Tanmay won 2 bronze medals in 100 m and 200 m races. Keshav, Kanav, Tanmay and Nishant won silver medal in boys relay race. — OC
