The district administration has received 249 grievances, which will be put forth in the Jan Manch programme proposed to be organised at Kakira tomorrow.
Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary will preside over the programme and listen to the people’s grievances and redress the issues on the spot.
Chamba Deputy Commissioner Vivek Bhatia said 11 gram panchayats had been identified for the programme, which were Nainikhud, Tunnuhatti, Chalama, Taragarh, Kakira Kasba, Kakira Jarei, Ghatasni, Gadana, Hobar, Khareda and Kuddi of the district.
Out of 249 complaints and grievances, 70 belonged to rural development;, 53 revenue;, 40 Ppublic Wworks Ddepartment;, 26 Iirrigation and Ppublic Hhealth Ddepartment and remaining to ; besides various other departments, the DC stated.
The main aim of the programme was to establish a direct dialogue with the public and provide on the spot redressal to their grievances in a time bound manner, the DC further said.
