The role played by Guru Ravidass in giving a new direction to society will always be remembered.
This was stated by Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Hans Raj while speaking at a state-level function organised by local Guru Ravidass Sabha to commemorate his birth anniversary here today.
He said the positive and constructive message given by Guru Ravidass to society was equally relevant today also. On the occasion, he announced to give Rs 2 lakh for the Ambedkar Bhawan.
Earlier, Guru Ravidass Sabha president Jiteshwar Surya honoured the Deputy Speaker with a ‘Siropa’.
Hans Raj released a poster of Guru Ravidass and a video CD of Ajit Bhatt based on the Guru’s hymns.
