Veteran journalist Ravinder Randev (82), who remained active in journalism for more than 45 years, was cremated here today.
Randev died here yesterday following a massive heart attack. He is survived by wife Tripta Randev and daughter Dr Shivani who is married. Information and Public Relations Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Chief Information Commissioner Narinder Chauhan, senior officials and journalists attended his cremation at Kanlog.
Randev joined journalism in 1972 and started his career as a staff correspondent with Vir Pratap. He also worked with Jansatta, Dainik Tribune, The Indian Express, PTI and Uttam Hindu.— TNS
