SOLAN:A colourful parade marked the closing of the three-day 171st founder’s day celebrations at Lawrence School, Sanawar, on Thursday.

A colourful parade marked the closing  of the  three-day 171st  founder’s day celebrations at  Lawrence School, Sanawar, on Thursday. 

GOC-in-C,  Western Command, Lt Gen Surinder Singh exhorted students to chose their profession wisely. Batchmates of 1958 also participated in a march past. The ‘Chief of the Army Staff’s Trophy’  (boy and girl  for 2017-18) was bagged by  Kushan Singh of Vindhya House and Gaurika Mehtani of Himalaya House. The ‘Chief of the Air Staff’s Trophy’ for academic excellence for 2017 was won by Vindhya House .   The ‘Old Students’  Achievers Award’ was won by Dame Parveen June Kumar (1958 batch),      Arup Kumar Dutta (1962 batch)  and  Ajeet Bajaj  (1983 batch).
