Scholarships, books given to girl students in Una district

UNA, SEPTEMBER 8
The Himotkarsh Parishad distributed scholarships and textbooks to 68 deserving girl students under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign at Bachat Bhawan here today.
Principal of government college, Haroli, Aruna Bhardwaj, who was the chief guest at the programme, called upon the students to strive towards sharpening their overall skills so as to achieve success in the competitive world.
Stressing the need to lead a value-based life, she said girls were committed towards the welfare of two families.
Himotkarsh president Kanwar Hari Singh and Mahila Manch president Deepshikha Kaushal were also present among others.
