Kangra, April 18
The wife of Subdivisional Magistrate, Nagrota Bagwan, Siddarth Acharya was killed in a road accident at Bangwar near Ranital on the Matour-Shimla national highway on Wednesday. His two-year-old daughter was injured.
Reports said the SDM’s family members were coming from Bilaspur when their car collided with another vehicle, occupants of which too were injured.
The injured — Veena (55), his mother, Jayanti, his daughter, Vishal Bhardwaj, his cousin and two others Ravi Diman (21) and Prayank Upadiya (21) — were rushed to Tanda medical college. A case has been registered.
