Garima Verma from Shimla has bagged the title of Miss India Himachal. She will represent the state in the grand finale of Miss India-2019 to be held in Mumbai on June 15. Winners of seven states, including Miss India Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Delhi, were selected in New Delhi, a press release issued here yesterday stated.

North zone mentor Dia Mirza, who was one of the judges, was extremely happy that the deserving candidate would be representing her state at the grand finale. She said: “As a mentor, I will be looking for women who care, know their hearts, minds and are seeking to widen their horizons.” The finalists of fbb Colors Femina Miss India-2019 will undergo training and grooming sessions before the finale. — TNS
